Importance of Srimad Bhagwat Katha Saptah

This is a recitation of 18000 verses of Srimad Bhagwat Katha in 7 days for getting the blessings of Lord Krishna. It is said to bless the devotees with a pure soul and peaceful heart as well as a Long Life. The devotee is said to get rid of miseries of life and various kinds of Bandhan by blessings of Lord Krishna and is supposed to be a fortunate one for attaining Moksha as per ancient vedic literature.

Path Procedure

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapna, Kalash Sthapan, Lord Krishna Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Srimad Bhagwat Purana Recitation followed by Homam on the final day with Honey, Ghee, Sugar, Til, Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti, Prasad to Brahmins.

Srimad Bhagwat Purana asserts that the inner nature and outer form of Lord Krishna is similar to the Vedas and is capable of rescuing the world from forces of evil.
